The Atlanta Silverbacks Elite Youth Club will host the second annual Tournament of Champions on December 8th and 9th at Atlanta Silverbacks Park. The Silverbacks began the invitation-only tournament last year to bring together the premier teams in the area for exciting competition at a world-class facility. This U.S. Club Soccer event will include top-level U13, U14, U15, U16, and U17 boys’ teams.
          The tournament calls for age divisions with six-teams that will then be divided into two three-team brackets for round robin play. The winners of each bracket will advance to the finals. Each team is guaranteed two games during round-robin play.
          The Tournament of Champions registration and fee deadline is 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 15th. Registration fees for U.S. Club players are $20 per player; registration fees for non-U.S. Club players are $25 per player. Fees include an official 2007 Tournament of Champions t-shirt for each player. If teams do not register the minimum 16-player roster, the price per player will be adjusted accordingly. Teams can register a maximum of 22 players.
