ATLANTA SILVERBACKS U-23'S COACHING STAFF

HEAD COACH - STEVE MUCCILLO Muccillo joined the Silverbacks organization in 2007 to coach the PDL team in its second season.  Muccillo, a USSF A Licensed coach, grew up playing soccer in the Atlanta-area and played for Georgia State University. He helped lead the Panthers to two TAAC championships in 1986 and 1987, and went on to play professionally in the USISL, the NPSL, the A-League, and the EISL. Muccillo, who also has his NSCAA Premier Diploma, was an assistant coach at Georgia State University and Lagrange College. He has worked with AFC Lightning for the past 13 years.

ASSISTANT COACH - STEVE HUTTON Hutton joined the Silverbacks organization in 2006 as the Director of Camps and this season he will serve as an assistant coach on the men's pro team in addition to assisting Coach Muccillo with the PDL team. Hutton, a USSF A Licensed coach, played at Maryville College (TN) for one year before transferring to Virginia Tech. He spent two years as Girls Director at Metro North and spent nine years as Director of Player Development at AFC Lightning. Hutton coached Georgia ODP teams to two Regional championships and he has won five state cup championships with several different teams in Georgia. He currently serves as Girls Director and Tournament Director for the Coweta Cannons. He also holds NSCAA National, Advanced National, and Premier Diplomas.
