         The Atlanta Silverbacks Women’s record-breaking 2007 season culminated in the franchise’s first W-League Championship appearance last August. The Silverbacks will kick off their 2008 campaign at home on Saturday, May 10 against the Hampton Roads Piranhas. The 14-game season will feature seven home games at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium from May 10 to July 19. The Silverbacks Women will see new action against the W-League expansion sides from Tampa and West Virginia. And as always, the team will face the perennial powers in Charlotte and Richmond.
