DELTA BECOME SILVERBACKS' OFFICIAL AIRLINE PARTNERTuesday January 31, 2006
The Atlanta Silverbacks today announced a new partnership with Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), which will see the Atlanta based company become the “Official Airline Partner of the Atlanta Silverbacks”. Delta Air Lines is the world’s second-largest airline in terms of passengers carried and the leading U.S. carrier across the Atlantic, offering daily flights to 505 destinations in 93 countries on Delta, Song, Delta Shuttle, the Delta Connection carriers and its worldwide partners. The partnership will add to Delta’s already extensive presence in the Atlanta area. Alfreda Turner, Field Marketing Manager for Delta, says the new partnership with the Silverbacks fits in with Delta’s marketing plan, “Delta is pleased to sponsor the Atlanta Silverbacks.
