The Atlanta Silverbacks look to continue their winning ways against the league-leading Vancouver Whitecaps this Saturday, July 7th at 7:55 pm at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium.
The Silverbacks' (5-5-4) offense has come back to life in the past two games with a total of five goals scored. Leading the way has been Daniel Antoniuk, who has tallied two goals and an assist in back-to-back victories against league powerhouses Rochester and Charleston. Antoniuk is currently the league leader in points (16) and assists (6).
The 'Backs defense, which has only given up four goals in the past seven games, will have a tough task ahead of them – the Whitecaps (7-2-6) boast the top goal-scorer in the league in Eduardo Sebrango, who has notched seven goals this season. The Whitecaps will be relying on Sebrango to help defend their top position in the standings while Atlanta attempts to upset last year's champions.

SILVERBACKS WOMEN HOST COCOA FRIDAY NIGHT IN PLAYOFF PUSH
The Atlanta Silverbacks Women will be making a run for the playoffs this Friday, July 6th at 7:55 PM at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium against the Cocoa Expos.
After dropping a game to the Expos (5-2-2) on the road this past weekend, the second-place Silverbacks (7-2-0) look solidify their position in the standings of the Atlantic Division and get revenge with a win over Cocoa.
The loss was the first in nearly 50 days for the Silverbacks Women after reeling off six consecutive victories, all of which were shutouts. The close loss significantly tightened the seven-team race for the two available playoff spots. The Expos only trail the 'Backs by four points and are looking to make their move this Friday, while the Silverbacks will try to regain possession of first place with just a few games left in the regular season. The intensity is sure to be high in one of the most pivotal games of the season.

The Atlanta Silverbacks announced they will be hosting Rayados de Monterrey of the Mexican First Division on July 12th at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium. Monterrey, a renowned club with a large international following, competes in the Mexican Primera División. along side Cruz Azul - another Mexican team that will visit the Silverbacks on July 28th.

U23’s RETURN TO RE/MAX GREATER ATLANTA STADIUM AFTER FLORIDA ROADTRIP
The Atlanta Silverbacks U23's will take on the Cary RailHawks U23's this Friday, July 6th at 5:15 PM at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium.
A mere two points separate second place from fourth in the extremely tight Southeast Division of the Premier Development League.
The Silverbacks' strikers will try to break through a stingy Cary defense led by goalkeeper Aaron Weant, who posts a 0.630 GAA – third best in a league with 63 teams.
Weant will have to face an Atlanta offense that was hitting on all cylinders last weekend in an 8-0 drubbing of the Cocoa Expos. The 'Backs will look to leading scorers Ryan Roushandel and Jon Cox for firepower against the tough Cary defense.
