MetroPCS, Atlanta’s only wireless service provider offering a flat-rate unlimited, local and nationwide long distance service with no signed contract, announced today a two-year agreement with the Atlanta Silverbacks to become the “Official Wireless Provider” for the professional soccer team.

This partnership agreement facilitates MetroPCS interaction with various components of the Atlanta Silverbacks organization, including the Men’s and Women’s soccer teams, Atlanta Silverbacks Park and the Atlanta Silverbacks Sports Center.

The Silverbacks will begin their 2007 season next Saturday, April 21 at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium. The season, the ‘Backs’ second at their new home, will feature 14 regular season home games, three of which will be followed by spectacular fireworks shows.
