The Atlanta Silverbacks have finalized the ticket purchasing options for the Silverbacks’ July 28 exhibition match against Cruz Azul. The match will bring the legendary “cementeros” to RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium for what will be one of Atlanta’s premier events in 2007. Cruz Azul currently sits in 3rd place in Mexico’s top flight, behind Pachuca and Club America.
Tickets will be available for $55.00 and $37.50. The $55.00 price point will offer seats on a first-come, first-served basis between the 18-yard lines. The $37.50 price point will offer seats on a first-come, first-served basis between the end-line and the 18-yard line.
Tickets will go on sale in three separate phases:
May 21 – May 25: The first phase will see Platinum Club members and season ticket holders offered the opportunity to purchase their existing seats for the corresponding “Copa Amistad” price. Each ticket holder will be permitted to purchase only the same number of seats they own rights to as season ticket holders. All sales during this first phase will be made over the phone.
May 29 – June 1: The second phase will see tickets made available for purchase to other Atlanta Silverbacks club members, including: the Silverbacks Elite Youth Club, the Silverbacks PDP/Super-Y program, the Silverbacks Amateur Club, and Silverbacks affiliate – Georgia Futbol Club. In addition, Platinum Club members and season ticket holders will be allowed to purchase additional tickets at this time. Each transaction during this phase will be limited to four tickets and all sales during this second phase will be made over the phone.
June 4: The third and final phase will see tickets go on sale to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be available at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium on Monday, June 4 from 11:30 am–5:00 pm for walk-up sales. Any tickets remaining after June 4 will be available for sale over the phone. Each transaction during this phase will be limited to four tickets.
