The Atlanta Silverbacks announced their radio partners for the 2007 season. The Silverbacks will be working with some of Atlanta’s top radio stations - Star 94, 104.7 The Fish, La Raza, and Eagle 106.7.
Star 94 (WSTR, 94.1 FM) is Atlanta's premiere top 40-radio station, broadcasting from its Buckhead studios since 1989. "Atlanta's Hit Music Station" features personalities Steve McCoy and Vikki Locke in mornings; Tripp West in middays; Cindy Simmons and Ray Mariner in afternoons and Nudge at night.
104.7 The Fish (WFSH, 104.7 FM) is "Safe for the Whole Family" and has been on the air since 2001. The station features adult contemporary music and is the home of "Kevin & Taylor in the Morning," Parks Stamper during middays, Dan Ratcliffe for the afternoon drive, and Mike Stoudt in the evenings.
La Raza (WLKQ/WNSY, 102.3/100.1 FM) was Atlanta’s first Hispanic FM radio station. La Raza plays only the top regional Mexican hit music that reaches the active and mobile Hispanic listener. The station recently began simulcasting on WNSY, expanding the stations’ reach into northwest Georgia up to the border of Tennessee.
Eagle 106.7 (WYAY, 106.7 FM), Country Favorites and the Best of Today, is home to Rhubarb Jones, Dallas McCade, and Southside Steve in the mornings; Sandy Weaver in middays; Steve Mitchell in the afternoons and Kevin O’Brien hosting “Real Country Nights.” Fans of the Silverbacks should recognize the voice of Southside Steve – he is the Silverbacks’ game day announcer at all of the home games at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium.
