Atlanta Silverbacks

The Atlanta Silverbacks announced today a new partnership with State Farm®; the partnership will see the nation’s largest insurer of homes and automobiles become the “Official Insurance Partner” of the Atlanta Silverbacks.

“There is a lot of excitement at State Farm around our partnership with the Atlanta Silverbacks. This allows us to reach an ever growing and loyal fan base. We look forward to a winning year on and off the pitch,” says Ashley Deadwyler-Jones, State Farms’ Zone Marketing Programs Coordinator.

The partnership with State Farm, which has many different components, will bring “State Farm Game Day” to RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium on August 10th when the Atlanta Silverbacks take on the Puerto Rico Islanders. The exciting evening will end with a spectacular fireworks show over the stadium and Spaghetti Junction. State Farm will also be heavily involved in the 2007 Atlanta Silverbacks Champions League, a tournament put on by Atlanta Silverbacks Park. The Champions League tournament boasts exciting competition between Atlanta’s best men’s amateur teams fighting for $25,000 in cash prizes – one of the largest prize purses in any amateur soccer tournament in the country.

The Atlanta Silverbacks are entering their second season at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium, located just off Spaghetti Junction. The largest soccer organization in the southeast, the Silverbacks continue to work to advance soccer and promote the game at all levels. The 2007 season, which begins on April 21, will bring exciting events to the Atlanta sports community, as well as continued additions to one of the region’s best soccer facilities. The completion of Phase II of RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium will see the addition of a bar/restaurant, an elevated concourse and permanent restrooms.
