          The Atlanta Silverbacks Men will look to continue their unbeaten streak at home this Saturday night when they host the Portland Timbers at 7:30 pm at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium. Aside from another exciting match of professional soccer, fans will get to enjoy many additional perks at the game. Prior to the game, the first 500 fans to enter the stadium will receive a 2006 Rodrigo Rios bobblehead. Following the game, every fan will get to witness a spectacular fireworks show above the new stadium.  The evening’s events will be a great way to celebrate the halfway mark of the 2006 season. After completing a difficult five-game road trip to start the season, the Silverbacks have gone 6-1-2 in their last nine games and remain undefeated in their new home. The Silverbacks currently sit in 5th place in the USL First Division.
           The fireworks show, originally scheduled for July 4th, was rescheduled due to inclement weather. Anyone who brings their ticket stub from the Silverbacks’ July 4th match will receive a 50% discount on a ticket to the July 15th match in a ticket-for-ticket promotion. To get this discount, fans can bring their tickets to the Silverbacks’ office or box office to purchase the new ticket to the July 15th game.
           Tickets for this Saturday’s game are available, however, after midnight on Friday night remaining tickets will only be available through the online “print-at-home” option. Tickets will also be available at the stadium box office starting at 5:00 pm on Saturday. Please purchase your tickets early!
